Ingredients:
1 cup cubed turnips (2 greens)
1 TSP olive oil (1 healthy fat)
season to your preference with pepper, salt, and garlic powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix the olive oil and turnips in a bowl. Sprinkle seasonings evenly over the turnips. Spread out on baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes.
Serving: 2 green servings and 1 healthy fat.
As you can see in the picture, I had baby greek and mexican burger with it (see recipe here: http://beatingleanandgreens.blogspot.com/2011/07/mexican-greek-burgers.html). I was a bit surprised because I actually liked the taste of the turnips.
